What i meant of "clean install" was a formated hard drive with a new installation of windows 7 and nothing else other than drivers, windows updates and anti virus etc so here goes.Ģ. It's plain guessing but could it be some leftover from the crack of the 2.5.2 version? I didn't exactly uninstall the program because that would damage the PC's registry, so I manually deleted it through Explorer. My best bet is that it does not connect to it's developers but there is something else, stored in the system that the program is using to identify itself as illegal. So, the program keeps displaying the "license problem" message, every 20 minutes or so after I launch it. I guess it's not exactly a connection issue unless the program has a magic way of connection to its developers through telepathy. Last three times I unplugged the Internet cable. So I started disabling my Internet connection (because my ISP uses a local area network to connect its clients). I read somewhere on the internet that the default firewall with Windows XP "doesn't block outgoing". Since my third attempt I started adding the program in the Windows firewall exceptions and ticking off it's checkbox. It adds successfully to the registry but my last word woud be same as in my other sentences - nothing. Since I was trying to add the registry file from an external hard drive (where I store the installation program), I tried to copy it in the program folder and then double click it while it's there. So I tried to install it in the default folder the installation program offers (that is C:\Program Files\CLO 3D 2011). I was trying to install it on drive F while the crack could very well be designed for drive C. I thought that maybe I was installing it on the wrong drive. Then I started reinstalling the program evey time the message showed up for the first time.Īnd I am sure I followed the instructions right. So I started trying to recrack the program. I downloaded it but I did not quite follow the installation instructions, in this sense that I left my computer connected to the Internet. I used the version 2.5.2 untill very recently I found this one which should be compatible with my operating system. So basically it's a 64-bit CPU and a 32-bit OS (that has teh latest updates though). If this information could be of any significance, I have an Athlon 64 XP 3500+ CPU and my operating system is Windows XP Service Pack 3. I am starting to feel like a retard who is failing to do something really very extremely simple in order for the crack to function properly. I have reinstalled and uninstalled the program time and again but I would still get the "license problem". It feels like the crack would work for all the world but me.
